Katara yawned as she sat up in bed, her long dark hair rippling about her as she moved. Sighing, she slid out from under the silken sheets, doing her best not to wake her snoring husband. Moving as gracefully as possible, she moved over to the door, raising a lovely dark arm as she did so. With her mere thought, a beautiful silk robe appeared on her body. She smiled at the effect, but continued on her way, not even looking back at her husband.  
 
She paused outside, wondering what she should do that day. She could go visit the mortal world and have her fun with mortals, but that didn’t seem that a Zutara Challenges - Mythology

I admired him. I’ll be the first to admit that. I admired the way he smiled at me. I admired his hair. I admired his build. I admired his eyes. Fine, I admired everything about the way he looked (believe me, how I admired that). But there was something else there too. It wasn’t just his good looks that drew me to him.

Katara was on her knees in her favourite garden, sobbing. She had received some truly horrifying news this morning, and it was all she could do to stop from going hysterical. Her dark hair fell around her shoulders as she buried her face in her hands and wept.   
Several minutes later, she heard hurried footsteps enter the garden, and heard someone walk over to her. “Katara? Katara, what’s wrong?” a concerned voice asked, her grief keeping her from recognising it. Katara felt a hand on her shoulder.

Wow.....its been a long time since I've posted a journal here, hasn't it? ^^; Ah well, at least I sort of posted a few fics and stuff afterwards.

Anyways, update on life: university semester over, exams went quite well (still need to get results back, but I think I did pretty good :D), and now I'm on summer holidays. The joys of being an Aussie :D

I'm currently working on a few zutara pieces, including a songfic to one of my favourite songs. Which, incidentally, is also the song used in the zutara AMV I finished and uploaded today. I would love if some of you guys could check it out and let me know what you think - positive comments might inspire me to make more/write more fanfiction (got nothing else to do with my summer, lol). The other is just a rather little tribute I did to the awesomeness of Katara and Toph
